Muireann Noonan, originally from Kerry, recalls some disasters of her wedding day but remembers that it was her right to make those choices for herself. She believes that we do not live in an equal society if we can’t marry someone we love, nor if other parents don’t have the same rights she has.

“It is not an equal society if there are some people who cannot make the commitment, that I made without question, because it is against the law.”
