Eimhin is a 27 year old historian living and working in Dublin. He’s been on the receiving end of homophobia and dreams of an Ireland where no child grows up fearful of expressing their true identity.

“We can do nothing about the past, but we can create a future where all children have an opportunity o be happy in themselves. This referendum can’t be won by the 10% of the electorate that are gay. We need our families, friends and neighbours to stand with us and affirm that we are people of worth. The referendum gives us the choice to ensure that the homophobia that I’ve experienced is buried deep in the grave of the past.”
