Maggie Collins is originally from Cork, but now lives in Copenhagen, Denmark with her partner Shauna, who herself is from Canada. Maggie and Shauna met and fell in love three years ago, know they want to spend their lives together, and their thoughts are now turning to where they want to live, and where’s best to raise a family.

“I am very proud to be Irish, however I hate that I feel so ashamed to ask Shauna to come and live with me in a place that doesn’t recognise us, and our relationship, as equal. I would like to be able to get married in Ireland. I believe that, like me, Irish people believe in equality and in fairness. I’m hoping that you will proudly vote Yes.”
